SECCAP Admission Policy

If you have passed the matric exams and are looking for admission to Sindh government colleges, you will get the complete detail. Here we will tell you about the general admission policy that all government colleges follow for Intermediate admissions. However, Sindh ESCCAP (Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program) is an organization that regulates all government colleges.

Thus, those students who have passed the matric exams from any board of Pakistan are eligible to take admissions in the Sindh Colleges. Here we will tell you about eligibility Criteria, documents, merit calculation, and other related admissions details. So, read the complete article.

Eligibility Criteria for Admissions

  • students who have passed SSc/technical board/O-level exams
  • Students who have passed matric exams within three years before 2021. However, colleges will deduct the 5 marks for each year gap from the total marks for the merit calculation.
  • O-Levels candidates must have passed English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pak studies, and four optional Subjects.
  • For the Cambridge board students, an equivalent certificate from the IBC Islamabad is mandatory.
  • Students who have Sindh domicile
  • Domicile other than Sindh will get admission on a quota basis.

  • Character certificate
  • Domicile
  • self/father, CNIC/B-form
  • Photographs
  • Quota eligibility certificates

Merit calculation Method

  • SECCAp will differentiate the students for colleges based on the last exams marks.
  • The admission of the Matric students from Technical Board, GCE/O Level Foreign Country and their names are not included in placement list of respective College shall be granted through claim orders only.
  • Concerned Principal shall be held responsible for any Admission granted beyond/below the merit in Karachi Region.
  • For the O-levels students, the merit will be calculated by converting their marks according to the following formula. (Grade A*=90, A=85, B=75, C=65, D=55, E=45 )
  • To calculate the equivalence marks the mean value of all valid graded will be multiplied by 8.5.
  • The matric marks for Technical Board shall be converted according to the following mentioned formula:
    • Maximum marks of Technical Board = 1150
    • Maximum marks of Component III of class IX & X =300
    • Maximum marks for evaluation “A” = (1150-300)= 850
    • Evaluation marks =(marks obtained) – (Marks obtained in Component III)

Cancelation of Admisson

Colleges have the right to cancel the admission of the students if they find any of the following things.

  • False information on the admission form
  • If students didn’t attend classes within the 10 days of commencement of the session
  • Professional agitator or struck off from any other education institute

Besides this, students can also apply for the change of subject and migration from one to another college according to the rule.
