Recently, the Sindh Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Chaired a meeting and approved the new retirement policy for employees in the province. During the meeting on Tuesday, Provincial Minister and Officials discussed the pension rule 1963. Thus, after discussion and reviewing the policy, the participants agreed to the various recommendation, and CM approved the New pension policy.
According to the new policy, the government reduces the retirement age of the govt employees. So, the employees could be retired at the age of 55 years or after completing 25 years of service.
At the same time, the govt also reduced the age of deceased employees’ children to receive the pension. Now, the children of deceased employees at the age of 21 can collect the pension instead of 24 years.
During the meeting, the CM stated that tyhe new pension policy would help the pensioners and reduce the problems they face. At the same time, the new pension policy will also help in the release of pension payments on time. On approving the new rule regarding the pension bills, the govt expects to save around Rs 433 billion annually.
