Sindh to Reduce MDCAT 2021 Passing Marks
According to the official statements, the Sindh Government decided to reduce the MDCAT Passing marks. So, students securing 40% marks in MDCAT will be considered to pass now. The Sindh government took this decision during a meeting chaired by Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pichuho. However, Private and Dental Universities VC also attended the meeting online.
Other than the MDCAT decision, the Health Minister also announced the establishment of the Sindh Medical and Dental Council next year. Health Minister stated that if PMC didn’t sort out the matters, Sindh would establish its medical council and MDCAT test.
At the same time, the minister also instructed the VC of SMBBMU Larakan to launch a web portal to collect the MDCAT Students Data. Then, the government will make the admission policy based on the collected data and announce the available seats for the districts.
