Due to the online MDCAT test conduction, students came out to the streets and protested for the single physical exam. Every year, Pakistan Medical Commission PMC conducts only one physical exam. But this year, due to the COVID-19, PMC decided to hold an online test from August 30 to September 30. Not only this, but they also give relaxation to enroll from the nearest medical institute or college. After this decision, students disagree with this decision. Thousands of students protest against online MDCAT tests. Pakistan Medical Commission didn’t approve their request. Now, they protest in front of the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench.
On this petition, the court issued a notice to the testing services, Pakistan Medical Commission, and University of Health Science (UHS) to respond to October 05. Students stated that PMC was playing with the future of the students. It is wrong to conduct online exams. The online test must be conducted on the same date across the country. Students also March pass to the PM House and demand for justice and resolve this issue.
