The Pakistan Medical Commission is now going to start the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT 2022). Applicant who belongs to Punjab will now start their MDCAT preparation. Just like all other medical universities, the UHS will conduct the entry test after getting approval from the Punjab Government. The University of Health Science UHS is going to conduct the test after a gap of three years. Now PMC ordered the UHS to start their MDCAT test preparation for test conduction in the month of October or November.
Every year, the MDCAT test is conducted by PMC nationally. But after the recent development, the respective provincial universities will conduct the test as per previous practice. Apart from all this, the PMC changed the eligibility criteria and MDCAT pass percentage for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in Government and private medical and dental colleges of the country.

MDCAT Passing Percentage
PMC also share the MDCAT passing percentage. For MBBS, the passing percentage is 55%. Students scoring a minimum of 45% in MDCAT exams will be eligible to apply for BDS programs in the country’s Government and Private Dental Colleges.
MDCAT Registration Portal
The registration portal of MDCAT already opened on September 10, 2022, and the last date to register for MDCAT 2022 is September 25, 2022. MDCAT is postponed till further orders.
