The Department of Zakat and Ushr announces scholarships for religious students. Many students are unable to continue their studies due to poor financial background. So, the government of KPK decided to offer such religious scholarships to needy students. This scholarship has incredible benefits as it covers full tuition fees. Not only this, but it is also awarded for the full financial year from July 2020 to June 2021 and provides financial assistance to such students. Eligibility Criteria:-

• Students who studied in the government school/colleges/universities or any govt technical institution are eligible to apply. 
•  Enrolled in any class from Intermediate to post-graduation
• Secured at least 60% marks. 
• Students who continue their MS/M. Phil degrees for study from abroad are not eligible for the scholarship 
• Children of government or semi-government employees are also not eligible.

How to Apply for Zakat and Ushr Department Scholarship:-

The deserving candidate can apply by visiting the head of the institution which will process it after the determination of Istehqaq by the local Zakat committee.
