The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) recently announced the revised policy 2022 for the NLE Exams. PMC announced the number of attempts and the duration to pass the NLE for the candidates during the latest notification. However, the issued notice is for the NLE Step-I and NLE Step-II exams.
Duration for the NLE Exams
PMC announced the maximum duration to complete the NLE exams within the 05 years of House jobs or first NLE attempt. The PMC will start to count the 05 years after completing House jobs or NLE 1st attempt, whichever is earlier. However, there are no limits on the no. of attempts for the NLE exams during the prescribed duration. Thus, within the 05 years, candidates can appear in the NLE exams without any limitation.
