HEC demanded to Increase the Budget
On Monday, HEC officials demanded to increase the budget during the National Assembly Standing Committee on Education meeting. In the meeting, HEC asked the government to increase the budget because the commission is facing various financial issues.

Other than that, the commission officials also stated that we didn’t receive the funds mentioned in the budget. They also demanded to revise the budget as it has not been revised yet. HEC stated that From where we will manage the money of universities?
Thus, under all these circumstances, HEC requested to increase the budget. Other than that, HEC also talked about online courses. They stated that universities are teaching 113,614 online courses out of 118,331 courses.
