After the fake notification circulating on social media, Karachi University decided not to conduct only online exams but also hold on-campus annual exams. After the meeting, KU announced to complete the hybrid mode of examination (a combination of online and in-person exams). Karachi University’s spokesperson says that we finalize to conduct a hybrid mode of assessment with 40% of the weightage for a student’s grade assigned to the in-person exam. Simultaneously, the rest of 60% of the course work if a mixed teaching method followed. Only departments that conduct online classes will take online exams.
According to the recent details, the second-semester will schedule from January 25, 2021, to February 15, 2021. Students who affected with COVID-19 not need to give exams. They submit an application to their department’s chairperson along with the test report. The exams of such students conducted later say KU Administrator.
