The Insaaf Afternoon School is facing a downfall these days. Around 7000 schools all over Pakistan are operating under this initiative. But they haven’t received funds in the last few months. Most teachers and their families suffer from poor financial backgrounds as they haven’t received salaries from January. The former Prime Minister of Pakistan started this initiative last year. Not only this, but they also started many other programs to provide financial assistance to the poor people. But as PM changed, all people who applied for the schemes faced problems.
The program will shut down permanently if the incumbent Punjab government fails to release funds this month. In a recent press release, the spoke person of SED Punjab stated that the government is facing a shortage of funds. Because of this, they are unable to pay Insaf Schools.
