This week, the board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore is conducting the annual matriculation exam. Incompetence at BISE Lahore has resulted in the leakage of the Mathematics Paper in an exam center.
According to reports, the English test for class 10 was scheduled for yesterday. However, the invigilator personnel handed out the Mathematics exam to students instead of English. The final Mathematics exam was initially scheduled to take place on May 14th.

BISE Lahore jumped into action shortly after the officials in charge of the inspection discovered the mistake. BISE Lahore also arranged the English test at an unconfirmed time, and the exam began after a delay of almost an hour.
On the other side, parents and students have raised serious concerns about the ability of BISE Lahore to conduct annual exams with complete transparency.

In the meantime, Punjab’s Higher Education Department (HED) has been informed of the mistake made by BISE Lahore. In this regard, the secretary of HED Punjab has also sought the Chairman’s report BISE Lahore.
Secretary HED Punjab has ensured a transparent investigation into the issue and has stated that the department will take strict actions against those found guilty of grave carelessness.
