HEC has announced the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) online registration for the M.Phil degrees. The HAT test is for those candidates who want to take admission for an M.Phil degree or want to apply for the HEC Scholarship schemes. So, if you want admission to any Public/private HEC Recognized institute for M.Phil Degrees, you have to pass the HAT Test. Thus, for your assistance, we have provided the complete detail about the HEC LAT test below. However, the registration for the Higher Education Aptitude test 2022 has started. Thus, visit the HEC website now and register yourself for the HAT 2022 test. The last date for the HEC HAT Registration is 30 May 2022.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC HAT 2022
For the HEC HAT Test 2022, the following candidates are eligible.
- Those who have already applied for the MS/ M.Phil degrees admission or HEC scholarship via e-portal for further selection.
- Candidates who want to apply for scholarships by HEC-sponsored universities.
- Who wants to secure MS/M.Phil Admissions to any public/private universities in Pakistan.

HEC HAT 2022 Date
- HEC will conduct the HAT 2022 on 12 June 2022 (tentative).
- In case of any change in the test date, the commission will announce it on the official website and also inform the registered candidates through email/SMS.
- The registered applicants could download their HAT roll number slip from http://etc.hec.gov.pk OR on the registered email a week before the test date.
- Candidates must bring their roll number slip and original CNIC.
How to Apply for HEC HAT 2022
- Visit the HEC website to apply online for the HAT 2022 Test ( http://etc.hec.gov.pk)
- HEC will accept only Online applications. The complete method to apply for the HAT is described below in the official HAT notification.
- Candidates have to deposit Rs 1500/- in HBL Account # 1742 7900 133401, Account title “ Higher Education Commission.
