KPK Education Card 2022
Recently, the KPK Government announced launching the Education Card for talented students to pursue higher education. The government discussed the Education card for students during the 2022-23 Budget speech. During the FY 2022-23 speech, the Finance Minister, Taimoor Jaghra, stated that we would launch an Education card for the talented candidates of the province. However, the education card is on the same pattern as the Health card.
During the briefing regarding the Education Cards, Minister stated that the government had allocated Rs 1 Billion for the Education Cards. Thus, the talented and deserving students will study on scholarship in the top national universities.
Besides this, the KPK Government also grants Rs 01 Billion for hiring teachers and RS 01 Billion for the evening shift schools. At the same time, the provincial government set a budget of Rs 2 Billion for the procurement of school and college Furniture. However, the government allocated Rs 2.4 Billion for the female student’s stipends.
