According to the latest notification, we glad to inform all that the Punjab Cabinet finally approved the request of increasing 15pc special allowance of all government employees. Punjab’s Chief Minister clearly stated that the employees will get 15pc Special Allowance on the Initial stage of Basic Pay of 2017 not running. The Punjab Employees union requested to Chief Minister that this allowance should be on Running basic pay not on initial stage.
The cabinet requested to consider and approve the special announcement at the running basic pay scale instead of the initial stage to employees who are not receiving any other service or cater specific allowance. Employees of Punjab government will receive the special allowance with the effect from 1st of March 2022 and the areas of months April may June will be received in July salaries.
How to Calculate your Special Allowance 2022 @ 15%
- Just multiply your current basic salary by 0.15 and you will get the amount of your Special Allowance 2022.
- For Example Salary of Mr. Ali is 24,999/- now the Special Allowance of Mr. Ali is 24999 multiplied by 0.15 i.e 3750.
