The Pakistan Medical Commission PMC notified regarding the stipend for a house job. According to the latest notification, it is to inform all medical and dental colleges, teaching hospitals, and graduates that they will get a stipend or salary for their house jobs. The Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education Regulations 2021 emphasize under regulations that no unpaid house job offered or obtained. Now, all teaching hospitals must give stipends or monthly salaries to public teaching hospitals. However, the August Supreme court of Pakistan also announced the decision regarding stipend payment. Public Colleges and private colleges shall pay a stipend or salary not being less than the amount applicable to the public colleges. Now all public and private teaching hospitals directed to comply with the provision of the PMC Act and Regulations under the Judgment passed by the supreme court. However, the legal actions will occur against the defaulters per the Law.
