Sindh Opposed the Decision to Open School on Regular Basis
On Sunday, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani opposed the decision to open the schools on a regular basis. A few days ago, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced that from 01 March 2021. The school will regularly open for 05 working days. Thus, the Sindh Government didn’t agree with this decision and stated that the federal government’s statement created confusion among the students.
Other than that, Saeed Ghani also stated that how can we send the children to the schools on a regular basis in the pandemic. Thus, Sindh Government will only allow the students to come on alternative days.
He stated that it would be very difficult for the schools to fulfill the COVID-19 SOPs if we call all students to the schools daily. However, he also noted that the severity of COVID-19 becomes less but not finished completely. Thus, we can’t put the lives of our children at risk.
