On Monday, Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas ordered the vaccination of all the provincial government teachers and staff in order to protect them from COVID-19. According to the details, around 127000 teachers trained online during the pandemic. Therefore, Murad Raas proposes the vaccination of all the eligible teachers under the current vaccination program. As the physical classes from grade 9 to 12 started in province Punjab. The majority of teaching staff visited the school daily. Therefore, it is mandatory for every teacher to get vaccinated in order to cope up with the situation of COVID-19.
Apart from all these, Murad Raas strictly ordered all educational institutes to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain social distancing, and wear face masks to curb the spread of the virus.
