According to the details, it to notify all that the Punjab government decided to close Punjab colleges till Eid. As all schools will remain shut down till Eid and exams also postponed from Grade 9 to Grade 12. Therefore, the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab released the notification for shutting down colleges all over Punjab. The purpose of taking this decision is due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases. However, Federal Education Minister advised all people to wear the mask and maintain social distancing
“In continuation of earlier notification on 25-04-2021 & in line with the decisions of #NCOC dated 27-04-2021 all Public & Private Colleges in Punjab shall remain closed w.e.f. 29-04-2021 till Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 holidays,” read the notification.
