The Government College University Faisalabad GCUF issued a notification regarding the Ashura-e-Muharram. The latest notification, it is to notify all GCUF students that the institute will remain close on 5th August 2022 (Friday) on account of Ashura-e-Muharram. The reason behind the closing of the University is due to the sensitive locality of the University. Near the GCUF, the Imam Bargah is situated, where thousands of Shia arrive. For this purpose, they decided to shut down University today. Not only this, the Government College University GCUF will also remain closed on the 9th and 10th Muharram. Hence, the University will also remain shut on Monday and Tuesday.
Government College University Faisalabad is a well-known public sector university offering world-class quality education to students. They offer multiple degree programs.
