Extended Honorarium for NCHD & BECS Teachers in Sindh
The Sindh Education Department (SELD) has issued a notification regarding the extension in the Honorarium of the NCHD and BECS teachers. For this purpose, the Sindh Government Cabinet conducted the meeting and decided to continue the Honorarium-based engagement of NCHD and BECS teachers. However, below are the complete terms and conditions for the National Commission of Human Development (NCHD) and Basic Education Community Schools (BECS) Teachers.
- The extension in service of NCHD and BECS Teachers will be on fixed Remuneration of Rs 25000/month with 5% of annually increment till age 55 years.
- They can apply for casual leaves for two days/month and 24 days a year without leave encashment.
- They will get paid Maternity leaves for 90 days and paid sick/medical leaves for 15 days a year.
- The department will make performance evaluations of teachers according to the set assessment criteria.
- These services are not pensionable and will not be regularized.
- Other than a 5% increase, there will be no admissible increases/allowances.
- The department will deduct teachers’ salaries on the unauthorized absence of a period.
- The department will terminate the services of the teachers in the absence of teachers for more than 90 days.
