The Finance Division recently published the notification regarding the grant of the Ususal Increments in the year of Retirement. The notification stated that a civil servant is entitled to the usual increment on completing six months of service in the year of Retirement.
The notification also pointed out the queries in promotion cases’ usual increment. However, the notification stated that civil servants who have been promoted from lower or higher pay scales after completing six months of service in the year of Retirement couldn’t get the annual increment benefits.
