The Government of Punjab issued a new notification regarding the disbursement of salaries and pensions for session 2022. The Punjab Government Finance Department ( Monitoring Wing) decided that the Government servants and pensioners will get their December Pay & Allowances and Pensions on Friday, 30th December, 2022. The reason for distributing the salaries on 30th December 2022 is because of the 31st December ( Saturday) public holiday, and 1st January 2023 ( Sunday) gazetted holidays, and the 2nd January 2023 ( Monday) Bank holidays. Therefore Governor of Punjab is pleased to announce that pay & Allowances, and pensions will be given on 30th December to avoid the delay in disbursement. For more details, keep scrolling.
