gvWe have good news for all the Orphan girls who are worried about their financial issues. Pakistan Baitul Maal (PBM) start a great initiative. They started the first-ever social protection intervention for the education of orphan girls. Pakistan Baitul Maal’s Orphan and Widow Support Programme decided to give a monthly stipend of Rs 6000 to 12000 per month. PBM Managing Director Amir Fida Paracha inaugurated the release of the payments in a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.
PBM Managing Director on a recent occassion stated that orphan child mostly ignored in terms of monthly stipend. Therefore, they decided to provide a monthly stipend to such girls. By giving the monthly stipend to such students they could continue their education and become future educated mothers”. It is happening for the first time that the government is providing benefits to orphan kids. The government is making its full efforts to provide them with education by giving payment to such families through ATM cards in the future.
