We have good news for the people of Gilgit Baltistan who are highly qualified but still unemployed. The latest decision is to inform all youth of Gilgit Baltistan that the government has finally opened its doors to recruit thousands of teachers. Due to the shortage of teachers in various education sectors, they hired some well-qualified candidates for public schools within the Province. The Education Reforms Steering Committee finalized this decision in the first meeting. The Chief Minister of GB, Mr. Khalid Khurshid, presided over the committee. The government of Gilgit Baltistan wants to bring changes to the education sector. They provide equal job opportunities for education to all boys and girls. Moreover, it brings quality and standards to the education sector.

Other than that, the committee also agreed to cancel the attachments ( teachers deputed or serving in other departments) of the teachers, and they should immediately report to their respective stations. The country has already borne a lot of loss in education due to the coronavirus.
