The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Education make a big announcement regarding the SSC & HSSC syllabus. According to the details, the government of Pakistan finally approved the National Curriculum of Pakistan after 17 years. The task of curriculum development for grades 9 to 12 was carried out inclusively. The New curriculum syllabus for grades 9 to 11 will introduce in 2024. While the new syllabus for grades 10 and 12 will be issued in 2025. The government and education departments take steps in curriculum development. The Education Minister changed not only the syllabus policy but also the number of curriculum workshops held to take feedback from the concerned. Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan signed off the curriculum for nine subjects: Urdu, English, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. After detailed deliberations, the curriculum has been notified for Islamabad Capital Territory and the institutions under the Federal Ministries. The government also issued an implementation plan. Provinces will review and notify the curriculum as per their Acts and laws.
