The government of Pakistan makes a significant initiative for the transgenders who are studying in government schools. In a recent meeting, the Education Authority Lahore made a fruitful decision to provide a monthly stipend of 10,000 rupees for transgenders. Those transgenders registered in the school will get a monthly stipend of 10 thousand rupees, 5 thousand rupees stipend, and 5 thousand rupees will be given as transportation charges. The students will have to maintain 80% attendance to obtain the stipend.

DEO Secondary Education Lahore Near Iqbal says that the series of transgender classes in Government Girls High School Barkat Market has been going on for one year. Classes are conducted in the school on the first three days of the week.
Transgenders are being taught under the supervision of expert teachers. In addition to the stipend, free education, textbooks, and food are being given to transgenders. Scholarship money starts immediately after the registration of transgenders. The DEO also said the number of schools will be increased if the number of registered students increases.
