Recently, the Punjab education Minister announced a new Dress Code for the school-going students. During the conference on Monday, he talked about the Quran teaching in schools and new dress codes. According to his statement, during the Quran Period, the boys will wear caps, and girls will wear scarfs. However, this instruction is for all public and private institutes in Punjab. Murad Raas stated that all institutes would follow this dress code during the Quaran Perid.
At the same time, the Punjab education Minjstyer stated that teaching of Holy Quran is Mandatory in all Public and Private schools. Thus, the school will teach the Nazra (Quran reading) to the Class 1-5 students. At the same time, the students of Class 6-12 will get the teaching of Quran Tafseer (Translation and explanation).
However, on Tuesday, Education Minister Murad Raas retweeted a tweet in his account. That tweety stated that wearing the caps/scarf for the boys and girls is only for the Quran period. It is not mandatory to wear in the remaining periods.
