Recently, Allama Iqbal Open University announced a new policy for the annual exams of Autumn 2020 for various degree programs. The new policy is Online Semester Terminal Exams, through which students will conduct the paper online through their LMS Portal. The university decided to conduct online exams due to the investigating cases of COVID-19.
Before this, the university scheduled the exams from 16 April to onwards for various degree programs. But due to the situation, AIOU postponed all exams. Thus, now papers will be online.
Instructions For STE
Thus, to assist the students, the university issued a notification regarding the detailed instructions for STE. Through these instructions, students will be able to conduct the exams properly without any difficulty. Thus, below is the complete guideline/instructions.
- All students will be able to conduct the exams through their LMS portal. The university will upload the question paper of students to LMS at 8:00 AM, and the paper will remain there till 8:00 PM. Students have to upload the answers to the given question during this duration after typing on MS word. The university will not accept handwritten paper.
- After 12 hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM), the university will remove the question paper. In the next few days, there will be a paper for the following course code according to the date sheet.
- There will be 03 questions for every course code. Students have to attempt all, and the word count must be between 600-800.
