The Allama Iqbal Open University, Gujranwala, has relaunched the scholarship programs with the collaboration of the US Consulate. The announced scholarship is for the English Access Micro scholarship Program (EAMP). The university decided to start the EAMP again after completing the 1st batch.
However, EAMP is an after-school English Language and leadership program that has two years. Through this program, 13-20 years students from financially unstable backgrounds get the training.
EAMP 2nd Batch 2022
As the university has announced the 2nd batch for the EAMP, the university has already received 800 applications. However, after the written test and interview, the university will select 100 students (50 girls and 50 boys) for the English Access Microscholarship program.
The successful students will get the training at the Gujranwala campus after school, timings thrice a week. After completing the program, the students will get a certificate from the US Consulate General Lahore.
However, the AIOU VC has also approved purchasing 100 high-tech tablets that will be distributed among the selected students.
