On Saturday, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan issued a notification regarding the closing of the institute. According to the details, it is to inform all that Bahauddin Zakariya Multan will remain shut down from September 04, 2021 to September 12, 2021. However, the Sub-Campuses in Layyah, Vehari and Lodhran will remain open. The purpose of closing institutes is due to COVID-19 conditions. Students must stay home and follow Standard Operating procedures issued by the government. However, the Examination will continue with COVID-19 SOP’s already issued by the University.
Apart from this, they also mentioned in the notification that all Deans, Principals, Directors and Chairperson of the teaching department will remain present. Also, the offices of administration, audit, Examination, Accounts, Security Estate will remain open. It is also pertinent to mention that all the teaching departments must ensure 100% vaccinated before 25th September 2021 and submit immunization certificates for COVID-19 issued by the NADRA. The department DSA must ensure 100% vaccination of students.
