Due to the shortage of police officers in the police department, Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Pakistan, decided to recruit 13,000 officers in Punjab Police. CM invites application that has resulted in impediments to active patrolling and vigilance duties. According to the details, Usman Buzdar’s thoughts that Punjab Police Department has the guts to reveal and investigate the high profile cases, including the Johar Town bomb blast, several people killed in the Johar Town Bomb Blast incident. Therefore, they permit 13,000 highly skilled and energetic police officers in this regard.

Other than that, the Punjab government established 54 new police stations and 37 training centers, disbursed funds for the completion of construction work of 37 new police stations, acquired land for 100 new police stations, and inducted 550 patrolling vehicles Rs. 2 billion. Also, CM Usman Buzdar appreciates their efforts in discussing and approving the provincial fiscal budget for FY 2021-22.
