The latest scholarship applications are invited by Punjab Worker Welfare Board PWWB of the year 2020. It is a fully-funded scholarship for laborers and miners and their children as well. Punjab Worker Welfare Board takes the initiative to help needy and deserving labor’s children fulfill their education dream. Other than that, they offer multiple degree programs at COMSATS Lahore. COMSATS reserved a 30% quota in all the single degree programs for workers and their children. The duration of this scholarship is four years (8 semesters). If any student repeats a course or semester, he/she has to deposit the dues as per CIIT rules and regulations. The last date to apply for COMSATS worker welfare fund scholarships is January 04, 2021.

PWWB COMSATS Labor Quota Scholarship Benefits:-
Moreover, the Punjab Government covers the following expenses of PWWB Quota students.
- Tuition fee,
- Hostel fee
- Transportation cost.
Eligibility Criteria of PWWB COMSATS Scholarship.
- The worker should meet the following eligibility criteria before applying.
- Workers should have one year of experience in factories registered under the Factories Act 1934 or Mines Act 1923.
- deceased/ disable workers also eligible to apply
- Workers should have valid social security cards.
PWWB COMSATS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The eligible candidates will submit the following set of documents along with their admission application form at the time of admission:
- Worker/ miner’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
- Worker/ miner’s Appointment Letter.
- Applicants who are deceased/ disabled worker/ miner should attach a copy of proof of receiving a Death Grant/ Disability Pension needs to be submitted.
- Worker/ miner’s Social Security Card/ Old Age Benefit Card.
- The Factory Registration Certificate under the Factories Act 1934 or Mines Act 1923.
- Worker/ miner’s Factory Card/ Employee Card mentioning his/ her designation.
- CNIC/ Family Registration Certificate issued by NADRA of the prospective student.
- Worker/ miner’s Service Certificate and a certificate on his/ her good moral conduct.
- The candidate needs to sign an affidavit on an Rs. 20. Stamp Paper stating that if he/ she discontinues his/ her education, he/she will pay all the educational expenditures back to the Labour Department.
- Worker/ miner’s Factory Card/ Employee Card mentioning his/ her designation.
