Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) announced the DAAD doctoral scholarship program. This scholarship was specially announced for Sub-Sahara Africa citizens. The purpose of offering this scholarship is to help needy students who can’t pursue their higher education due to travel allowance to poor financial backgrounds. In addition to that, this scholarship offers great benefits such as paying full charges towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover; a complete research allowance of currently € 460 per year. Applicants holding a master’s degree or equivalent should apply. In addition to that, the successful candidate will get the chance to work in the following departments like Biogeochemistry and Geology, Ecology, Theoretical Ecology and Modeling, and Social Sciences.
