Special Decisions Regarding MDCAT 2021
On 16 June 2021, Monday, the Education Ministry announced the Special decision for the A2 and intermediate students regarding MDCAT tests. According to the news, the Federal education ministry allowed A2 students to appear in the MDCAT test without result.
The education ministry made this decision during the meeting with PEC, VCs of various universities, and HEC officials. During the meeting, the members talked about the matter. They stated that the Cambridge exams of A-Levels would be in October 2021, and their result will be in January 2022. MDCAT is scheduled for August/September 2021. This will cause a loss of an academic year for various students.
Thus, to prevent the students from losing a year, the government decided to allow the FSc pre-medical and A2 students to appear in MDCAT 2021. The government also instructed the medical colleges to accept the admission of those students on a provisional basis. However, the universities and colleges will confirm their admissions after the result.
However, after the result, PMC will provide some time till 10 February to the colleges to finalize the admissions. Thus, for all other latest news and updates, keep visiting our website.
