Due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases, Education secretaries after conducting meetings, finalize to postpone the hiring process of teachers. On Thursday, Sindh Home department took this decision. According to the press release, Sindh Government had imposed restrictions to limit public gatherings while the education department was currently carrying out tests to recruit staff through SPSC and other testing services and gathering of candidates in such a large number may become a source of further increase in COVID-19 cases.
The recruitment process of Sindh Public Service Commission has stopped because of the high positivity rate of COVID-19. The test which schedule on the date will now postponed. We will notify you soon after receiving any notification from SPSC. In Sindh, educational institutes are still open. But in other provinces like Punjab and KPK, the educational institutes closed from 15 to 28 March 2021 due to massive increase in COVID-19. The government of Sindh strictly advised all applicant to hardly follow the SOPs issued by the government.
