In a recent press conference, Sindh Education and Labour Minister Saeed Ghani said that schools remain open all over Sindh. According to Saeed Ghani, there is a low rate of COVID-19 cases in Karachi and the situation is under control. Therefore, it is useless to shut down schools or other educational institutions in Sindh. Only a 50% attendance student will allow attending schools. On Wednesday, Punjab Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood officially announced to shut down all educational institutions all over Punjab from March 15 to March 28. The main reason for the shutdown of educational institutes is due to a rapid increase in coronavirus cases.
Apart from this, the minister also said that the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), in its meeting today, overviewed the country’s coronavirus situation. According to the COVID-19 cases report, the positivity ratio in Punjab’s seven cities and Peshawar have risen. As a result, educational institutions will close over there for 15 days
