Expected Merit of Medical Colleges and Universities in Punjab 2020

According to news, the government medical colleges and universities might increase the merit for the admissions. There is a possibility to increase the merit by 1.818% that will be 88% for admission. If it will, then hundreds of students will not be able to get admissions. 

There is also news that the Health Department sent the medical colleges’ admission policy to the government for approval. However, there is no increment in the admission fees. 

Last Years Merits of Medical Colleges:

Last year, the minimum merit for admission in medical colleges was 86.1818. While the highest merit was at King Edward Medical University that was 90.9541. And 86.1818 was in Dera Ghazi Khan Medical College. 

Medical Colleges Admission Policy

For the admission in Medical colleges, the council has made the following admission policy

• 10% marks of matric
• 40% of intermediate
• 50% of Entry Test

Test Centers

The test will be of 2.5 hours at 9:00 AM at the end of September. The test will conduct in the following centers

• Lahore
• Faisalabad
• Multan
• Rawalpindi
• Bahawalpur
• Gujrat
• Gujranwala
• Sargodha
• Sahiwal
• Dera Ghazi Khan
• Rahim Yaar Khan
• Hassan Abdal
• Sialkot
