The Federal Directorate of Education announced the uniform workload schedule for teaching staff. The announced schedule is for all Islamabad Model Schools and colleges). According to the entails, the teaching staff will follow 40 minutes duration of each period. However, Heads can exceed the time if there is a need.
At the same time, FDE also explains the weekly workload for all teachers, vice principals, and heads of the institutes. However, the staff of all Islamabad schools will follow the given schedule.
- Minimum 06 hours of teaching workload/week for institutes head apart for administration work
- 14 teaching hours for Vice Principals /Associate Professors
- 28 Teaching hours per week for vice principal/assistant professors
- At least 28 teaching hours for SST/Lecturers/ST, SET/JLT, and EST.
