On 3rd April 2021, the Federal Public Service Commission FPSC issued a notification regarding the conduction of exams. As all the educational institutes in federal provinces are going to reopen from April 12, therefore FPSC also decided to hold exams of under-training officers of three service cadres from April 12. These three services are Information Group, Postal Group and Police Service of Pakistan. The exams of these services will commence from April 12 to April 23. Thus, students who applied in one of these three services will now start their preparation as per schedule.

According to the details, approximately 31 probationers of Information Group, Postal Group, and Police Service of Pakistan required to clear 10 papers of different subjects related to their occupational cadre before deployment on their first regular posting/assignment.

Not only this, some of the students who applied for these exams are afraid of giving exams in such a congested room due to COVID-19. Earlier in 2020, the exam of these three services got delayed and conducted in September due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But this time, there is no possibility of delaying exams. Also, FPSC Senior officers started work from home fearing exposure to the virus. As per details, they give relaxation to the 50+ age employees.
