Have you passed matric exams and now looking for the details regarding Intermediate guidelines? Here we will tell you about all the detail and guide you about the subjects. If you have studied biology in matric, then you can also choose biology in intermediate. The degree to which you select biology is called FSC Pre-Medical. Pre-medical students also studied other science subjects with biology that are chemistry and Physics. Other than these, students have to study three compulsory subjects: Urdu, English, and PS/IS. These three are elective subjects.

After studying pre-medical, students have vast career options that they can pursue other than MBBS, and BDS., so below are the details. 

Career Options after Pre-Medical

Pre-medical students have a vast option to choose from after their Pre-medical studies. If they want to become to a doctor, then they can get admission in MBBS and BDS. They can also select other related fields some of which are given below.

• DVM
• Biotechnology
• Biochemistry
• Food Technology
• Pharmacy and associated fields.

Eligibility Criteria for pre-medical

To take admission in FSc Premedical, students have to pass their matric exams. At the same time, if they have studied Biology in Matric, they will take admission to the FSc Pre-medical. 

Subjects in FSc Pre-Medical

During the FSc pre-medical (Part I & II), candidates have to study the following subjects.

• English
• Urdu 
• IS (in Part I), PS (in Part-II)
• Chemistry
• Physics 
• Biology 

Marks Distribution of FSc Pre-Medical Subject

The total marks of FSC Pre-Medica are 1100 (550 for Part-I and 550 for Part-II). So below is the marks distribution of FSC Pre-medical subject wise.

• English = 100 Marks
• 2. Urdu= 100 Marks
• 3. Islamic Education= 50 marks (Part I only)/ Pakistan Studies = 50 marks (Part II only)
• 4. Physics = 100 marks
• 5. Chemistry = 100 marks
• 6. Biology= 100 marks
