The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) brings a nine-month Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program. It is a golden chance for the English Language Teachers in Pakistan to polish their English language skills and brilliance. All the nominated candidates will get an opportunity to strengthen their command of English by studying in American Colleges Universities. Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program will also teach Urdu and Pashto language in USA educational institutes.
Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant candidates may serve up to 20 hours of language classes per week. The applicants must enrol in at least two courses per semester, out of which one should be US Studies.
The remaining assignments should be related to the applicant’s careers in English language teaching. The program will start at the start of 2022; if you are willing to grab the chance, apply until 13 July 2021.

Coverage of FLTA Program

Eligibility Criteria for FLTA Program
The eligibility criteria for the FLTA program is as follows.
- The applicant must be a Pakistani nationality holder having a valid Pakistani Passport.
- The residence of the applicant in Pakistan must be through the nomination and selection process.
- The applying candidate must be a young and an early career Teacher.
- The candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or 16 years of formal education.
- The applicant must be an educator English language or a relevant field at the college or university level.
- A person with some teaching experience will have the preference.
