Chip Technology in 09 Universities of Punjab
According to recent news, the Government of Punjab is going to take an initiative in the universities to promote technology. In this regard, the Higher Education Minister, Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz, stated that the government wants to promote chip technology in the nine universities of Punjab.
However, about this initiative, the higher education minister talked during the seminars of a university attended as a chief guest. He joined the seminar at the University of Engineering and Technology on the topic of Skills Development in Micro and Nanoelectronics Design Technologies in the Punjab Universities.
Thus, during the seminar, he stated that the Punjab government is thinking regarding chip technologies. However, he also said that UET would lead this project to attain the good and required results. The UET Lahore, UET Taxila, ITU Lahore and Islamia University Bahawalpur will take part in the promotion of the project.
