The health department of Sindh closed all schools, colleges, and universities till 15 march 2020, and now the Sindh health department issued an advisory for all educational institutes. All educational sectors will start their work from 16 march 2020 so any person student, teachers, and employees who visited the other country in between the last 15 days must stay at home for 14 days, and they’ll not be allowed to go anywhere school, college, and university. After completing their 14 days quarantine at home, if they are physically fit, then they can start their daily routine.
The whole world is in a lot of trouble right now, and the trouble name is the coronavirus—virus starts from china, and now it’s crossing the boundaries of many countries. Pakistan also one of these countries; in Sindh province, 16+ positive cases of coronavirus existed.
Advisory consider on following points:
1) Any person who has come back to Pakistan within the last fifteen days from abroad or has a family member who has come back from abroad, he/she’ll not be allowed to go o send their children to schools, colleges, and universities till their 14 days quarantine. They should stay in their home after arrival in Pakistan as 14 days’ time period. All parents shall inform the worried organizations if there is a travel of any person in the family from abroad.
2) Any person (student, family, employee) working in any public and private educational institute of Sindh province having fever or difficulty in taking breath, cough, flu, body ache will not be permitted to go to institutes premises. Furthermore, an employee of the public and private sector suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or Asthma must avoid going out in public. They are recommended to stay at home.
3) All people (students and employees) of public and privet institutes avoid gatherings and crowds. There should be minimum space of 3 feet (about 1 meter) between each other at their institutes.
4) 4. All must use hand sanitizer and soap frequently.
5) All must cover their face (nose & mouth) when sneeze /flu/cough with your handkerchief /tissue and must Dispose of it immediately. Please don’t touch your face and don’t spite.
6) Students and employees of all public and private institutes should arrange help desk for the awareness, screening, and health education about COVID-19.
7). The Deputy Commissioner anxious, as per provisions under Sindh Epidemic Diseases Act 2014, may use his authority to confirm all these protective measures for the stoppage of COVID-19 spread.
