HEC Law Admission test (LAT) 2020 extended date
The Higher Education Commission announced the LAT test for the candidates who want to take admission in the undergraduate LLB degree. It is an essential test for students who wish to pursue their studies in the law field. After passing the HEC Law test, students can get admission in any HEC/PBC recognized university or affiliated institutions. HEC has extended the last date of registration for the Law Admission Test and 23 August 2020 is the last date for registration. So, interested candidates must register as soon as possible.

Here are the detailed pattern and syllabus of the HEC Law Admission Test.

Date of Examination
- HEC will announce the Law test date soon on the website.
- Those candidates who register themselves will be able to download the roll number slip before a week of the test.
- Candidates must bring their CNIC and roll number slip on the test day.
Examination Centers
HEC will conduct the Law test in different cities. Registered applicants may select any Test/Examination center from the list available in the application form.
Extended last date
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the last date for the registration of the Law test that is 29 July 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for HEC LAT
- Those Candidates who have passed the HSSC or equivalent.
- Students who appeared in inter part-I exams in 2019 and are waiting for the part-II result.
How to apply for LLB LAT Test
- Candidates can register themselves from the website.
- Only complete and submitted applications will be considered for LAT.
- The process of application submission has two steps
- First, profile completion using the “My Profile” section and then application submission using the “Law Admission Test” link on the menu panel. This panel is on the left-hand sidebar of the online portal.
- The processing fee Rs.500 must be deposited online/ATM in any branch of HBL.
- Account details: Account # 17427900133401, Account title “ Higher Education Commission, Bank, HBL, Branch Code: 1742.
- Applicants must send a copy of the ATM/Deposit slip to the given address by courier.
- Address: Room # 13-209, 2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, H-8, Islamabad.
- Remember to mention the CNIC number at the backside of the bank deposit slip.
