The Higher Education Commission) announced a Law GAT Test 2021 registration dates for law graduates. The LAW-GAT test is also compulsory for LLB candidates to get admission in the law field. Thus, candidates can submit the application form by visiting the HEC ETC portal. However, the last date to apply for a Law GAT is 13 September 2021.
Law- GAT
Law-GAT is mandatory to pass for those who want to practice law for the advocate. However, Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) over-handed this authority to conduct the test to the HEC. Law-Gat is MCQs based paper, and 50% marks are compulsory to secure to pass the test. However, an applicant can attempt the Law-GAT test three times.
Examination Centers of Law-Gat
HEC conducts the LAW-GAT in 15 cities of Pakistan so that candidates can select one of the following cities according to choice.

- Faisalabad
- Multan
- Bahawalpur
- Hyderabad
- Karachi
- Abbottabad
- Sukkur
- Peshawar
- DI Khan
- Muzaffarabad
- Quetta
- Turbat
- Gilgit
Candidates can select any exam center of their choice, but a center has a capacity of only 100 applicants. If a center already has 100 applicants, candidates have to take the test in any other center mentioned above.

How to apply for Law GAT 2021
- Candidates can apply for the Law -GAT from the given link. (https://etc.hec.gov.pk)
- Candidates have to deposit RS 3,000/- test fees through ATM/online in A/C # 01127900567403, A/C Title, Higher Education Commission, Bank: HBL, Branch Code: 0112.
- HEC will not accept the bank draft or pay order.
- You must post the original fee deposit slip to the Members House, HEC, Sector H-8, Islamabad through a courier.
