The Higher Education Commission (HEC) advertised the Special Law Graduate Assessment Test (SGAT) 2023 registration dates. HEC will conduct the SGAT through the Education Testing Council (ETC) to recognize the students’ degrees from the unrecognized global Institutes in Lahore. So, the commission decided to provide the opportunity to the 3006 Category C students and 3566 Category D students of Global Institutes, Lahore. So, candidates who want to recognize their degree must appear in the SGAT and pass the test with at least 50% marks in one attempt. Thus, to apply, visit the HEC website and apply online for the SGAT 2023. The last date for the SGAT registration is 31 January 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for Special GAT 2023
The 14, 16, and 18 years degree candidates of the Global Institute, Lahore, are eligible for the Special GAT test 2023.

Test Date and Examination Centers of Special GAT 2023
The HEC will conduct the Special GAT on 12 march 2023 (tentatively). However, in case of any changes in the test, HEC will notify the candidates through the registered email/contact numbers. The registered candidates can download the Roll number slips for the Special GAT a week before the test.
However, the HEC will conduct the SGAT 2023 in the following cities.
- Rawalpindi
- Lahore
- Faisalabad
- Multan
Candidates can select their preferred city for the test. However, each center has a capacity of only 250 applicants. Candidates must select any nearby center if a center already has 250 applicants.
How to apply for Special GAT 2023
- Visit the HEC ETC portal to apply for the special GAT 2023. (https://etc.hec.gov.pk)
- Deposit RS 3,000/- processing fee fees in HBL A/C # 1742 7900 1334 01, A/C Title, Higher Education Commission.
- Upload the paid and scanned fee challan form on the portal to complete the application.
