HEC USAT 2021

The Higher Education Commission announced the schedule for the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) 2021. USAT is for admissions in bachelor’s programs for all universities across the country. However, the commission will conduct the test through the Education Testing Council (ETC). However, the pattern of the test will be according to the SAT. The USAT will cover all the disciplines at the undergraduate level. So, all those students who want to pursue their education and will take admission to a university have to appear in HEC USAT 2021. The last date to apply for the USAT 2021 was 30 August 2021. Now the commission has extended the registration date till 01 September 2021.

Eligibility Criteria of USAT

• Students who have passed their HSSC (Intermediate) exam or equivalent degree
• Students who have appeared in the HSSC exam and now waiting for the result.

USAT Marks Distribution

The Undergraduate Studies Admission Test will consist of the following two parts. However, the total marks of the test will be 100.

• Part-I (Time: 100 Minutes)
  • Verbal Reasoning MCQs 35
  • Quantitative Reasoning MCQs 40
• Part-II (Time: 40 Minutes)
  • Essay Writing Skills 400-500 Words (25 marks)

However, out of 100 candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in the USAT to pass the test.

USAT Test Date

According to the schedule, the last date of registration for USAT 2021 is 30 August 2021. However, the HEC will conduct the USAT 2021 on 12 September 2021 (tentatively).

How to Apply for USAT

• Firstly, visit HEC ETC Portal for Registration.
• Application submission consists of two parts: first MY PROFILE Section, then USAT Link on the left side of the portal.
• Submit the complete applications. The commission will not accept saved or incomplete applications. 
• For USAT, candidates have to submit Rs 1200/- in HBL Account # 1742 7900 1334 01, Title of Account: Higher Education Commission
• Send the fee deposit slip to Member’s House, HEC Sector H-8, Islamabad.
• Last date: 01 September 2021
