On Friday, the Higher Education Department of Azad Kashmir issued a notification regarding the winter vacations 2021. The notification informs you all that the winter vacations in Azad Kashmir schools and colleges are finalized for two months. As the winter season is at its peak, the Higher Education Department announced winter vacations for 63 days. The winter vacation in Azad Kashmir will begin on December 27 and end on February 27. Releasing the schedule of winter vacations, HED Azad Kashmir also announced the winter holidays for colleges located in summer areas would only be nine days. Hence it starts from December 27 to January 4, 2022.
This time, the weather is too cold, unbearable for students. The average high during this season is between 67.1°F (19.5°C) and 57.8°F (14.3°C). On average, it rains or snows a fair amount: 3 to 9 times per month. Therefore, Azad Kashmir HED Chairman announce vacations.
