On 6th April 2021, Higher Education Department issued a notification regarding Annual Exams 2021 and holidays in various colleges and universities in Punjab. This notification is valid for all Punjab cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Sialkot and Sheikhupura.In the recent meeting of the Inter-provincial Educational Minister Conference (IPEMC), they finalize the following decisions. Some of them listed below.
- All academic activities in colleges and higher education institutions in the private and public sector will resume from 18th April 2021. The activities resumed in the following COVID-19 affected cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Sialkot and Sheikhupura.
- All types of examinations and assessment activities got postponed in all such institutions.
- All Public and Private Universities will remain closed for conventional classes. However, online academic Activities in all such institutions.
- The International Examination including A and O level conducted as per schedule. However, the O’ Level Examinations will commence from May 10th, 2021.
- HED said that SSC Examination in Punjab will be held in the third week of May 2021. A revised schedule for both SSC & HSSC Examinations will be issued by the Punjab Board Committee of Chairman.
