Applications are open in Pak Air Force as Medical Doctors in its commission services. The commission service offers FCPS degree holders and MBBS Degree holders through short service commission in the Medical Branch. Applicants who are eagerly waiting for a Pak Air Force job will now have a chance to apply. However, the commission service offers the following two courses i.e General Duty Medical Officers (GMOs) In Medical Branch Through The Special Purpose Short Service Commission and the second one is Medical Specialists In The Medical Branch Through The Special Purpose Short Service Commission (SPSSC).
Apart from this, candidates who have medical specialists in the following fields can apply for the specialists
- Urologists: FCPS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board
- Anesthesiologist: FCPS/FRCA/Diplomate American Board
- Child Specialist: FCPS/MRCP/MRCPCH/FRCP/FRCPCH/Diplomate American Board
- ENT: FRCP/MRCP(ENT)/FRCS (ENT) /Diplomate American Board
- Pulmonologist: FCPS/FRCP/Equivalent
- Gastroenterologist: FCPS/FRCP/Equivalent
- Neurosurgeon: FCPS/FRCS/MRCS
Applicants having an FSCP degree will be appointed as Squadron Leader after 24 weeks of training while those having an MBBS degree will be appointed as flight Lieutenant. The online Registration shall start from April 19. The last date to apply for PAF Medical Branch is May 10, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria:-
- Applicant must be Pakistani domicile holder having Pakistan nationals
- Age of 24 to 28 years on October 04, 2021, for GMOs
- Age: 29 to 48 years on October 04, 2021, for Medical Specialists
- Applicants having MBBS degree holder with 2nd division or qualification equivalent to Bachelors from any of the foreign or national university of college can apply for the commission.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year as a house job.
PAF Ineligibility Criteria
- Those applicants are not eligible if he/she got rejected from Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) / ISSB / Naval / PAF courses twice.
- Also those applicants who tested for medical examination and physical test in the previous four months.
- Appeal Medical Board (AMB) declares a candidate as permanently unfit, then he is not eligible.
- Those infected with Hepatitis B and C declared ineligible.
- candidates expelled from any Armed Institution on disciplinary grounds are ineligible.
PAF Medical Branch Selection Procedure
- The interested candidate should fill the online application form available at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
- Intelligence test followed by an academic test in the relevant subjects in the respective R&SC
- PAF also conduct the initial medical examination and interview at R&SC
- Psychological tests of shortlisted candidates only
- Interview by first AHQ Special selection board
- Conduction of Final Medical Examination
- Interview by second AHQ Special selection board
- Final selection by AHQ on the order of merit
